THE COMPANY
ICS ceramics are born within a
history that traces its roots in
Giffoni Valle Piana.
Hand-decorated ceramics between art, craftsmanship and design.
“With ceramics you can give shape to
Vittorio de Pasquale Founder
dreams, desires and give them the color
of your emotions…”
The area around the territory of the Picentini mountains, which spreads from the hills of Salerno to the Paestum temples and Cilento, bears witness to the oldest Campania tradition. Here there are endless and precious proofs of the production of clays and potter over the centuries.
Our creations are made with the clays of these territories and molded manually by the “tornianti” masters or in molds. Deep attention is paid by the Firm to the manufacturing processes and materials used, in compliance with sustainable criteria for environmental protection.

“It is difficult not to find a ceramic object in our homes. It will have not only a furnishing function but surely it tells about an emotion, a memory… ”
Vittorio de Pasquale Founder
The main steps of the ICS company are marked by meetings and collaborations with professionals but, above all, with personalities that, each in their own field, have affected not only the style but the very approach of the Firm to design.
In the 70s and 80s Federico Simone and Luigi Massoni achieve the transition from the production in the Vietri style to its modern interpretation. At the end of the 90s Ugo Marano, together with Vittorio de Pasquale, in his “Infinite Sample Manifesto” relates art and usefulness, while a group of designers create crockeries and cutting-edge objects for ICS that are perfectly usable by the common people.

In 2014 the stylistic research, inspired by the past themes, reinterpret them with a contemporary approach in the collection “The shape of the journey”.
Local actors contribute to the promotion of “The shape of the journey” , from the Federico II° University, the ADI and other participants of our area to the Giffoni Film Festival, the most famous film festival for children.
Today, under the management of Beatrice Zinno and Dario Palumbo, the ICS collections suggest choices for an “ abitatore” (quote Giò Ponti) who, from the architecture of the spaces to the everyday object, want to personalize their environments in a refined style.
